Santorini Restaurants & Taverns Guide


Traditional Greek cuisine: 
Nikolas tavern in Fira right next to Town club."Dionysos" and "Fanari" in the area of “Fira”. No reservations needed usually.
“Katina” and “Sunset-Paraskevas” taverns in “Amoudi” bay just beneath “Oia” for fresh fish and seafood. You will need reservations for both taverns especially if you re planing to be there during the evening/sunset hours.
Pyrgos restaurant” and "metaxi mas" in the area of “Pyrgos” which in the central part of the Island and the highest in altitude. (for "Metaxi mas" make sure you make reservations since its very small) .

Raki” in “megalochori” 
Aeolos in Akrotiri towards the Lighthouse.
Dolphins in Akrotiri towards Red beach.
Lava at Perivolos beach.

"Saltsa" in "Fira" (probably need to reserve)
There is also a sushi restaurant in "firostefani" called "Ginger". Fairly good sushi given the fact you are on a Greek Island and prices are decent.
Right across the street is an amazing Italian restaurant (can't remember the name) which you should try if you re looking for genuine italian cuisine.
For gourmet cuisine:
"Sphinx" and "Koukoumavlos" also in “Fira”.
1800” in the area of “Oia”
New Age Cuisine :
“Seaside” at “Perivolos beach”
